Dove - An important symbol of Christianity representing the Holy Spirit. The white dove is referred to in the story of baptism of Christ. "And John bore record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him" (Bible, John 1:32). The descending dove is a very common motif on grave memorials. Three doves are representative of the Trinity: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.
The Doves are also representative of gifts of Grace, Love, and Purity.

A single white Dove is then released from a Heart Shaped Basket by a family member at the graveside. Simultaneously, A Trinity of three Doves representing the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are released form our Chapel cage.
